Julie travels through her day staying open and receptive to all facets of inspiration found in beauty, humor, awe, peace, kindness and LOVE. The Jewel Tree of Life chakra pendants represent the seven basic spiritual vibrations that unite our presence within the grounded context of nature. Each double-sided piece, strung on naturally dyed leather or color saturated ultra suede, enfolds the anatomy of a tree with the corresponding lotus symbol and affirmation. Mindful awareness of the recipient’s spirit is engaged during the hand finishing and tailoring process. These energy-centered pendants promote individual potential on the illumined path of self-discovery and joy.
Founded in 2001 by Julie Irmischer Bowes, her main focus has been creating jewelry by interpreting the moment through design; color, texture and spirit. In 1989 she received a B. A. in Art from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The Jewel Tree logo emerged as one of her last designs prior to graduation. She envisioned a long lasting relationship with this entity which has now come to be known as Jewel Tree, LLC.and subsequently www.JewelTreeofLife.com.
